Reflexology

Reflexology is classified as a 'holistic' therapy. It is a natural form of treatment which uses the feet to treat the entire body. Gentle pressure is applied to the reflexes of the feet or hands - each reflex point is said to correspond to a particular organ or body system.

Reflexology can bring about or restore a state of balance, deep relaxation and well-being. It can also activate and encourage the innate healing powers of the body, and in this way can be extremely beneficial as a preventative therapy.

The many benefits of Reflexology can include:

  • relieves stress and nervous tension
  • balances and revitalises the body
  • reduces musculo-skeletal tension and pain
  • stimulates cardiovascular and lymphatic circulation
  • strengthens the immune system
  • improves elimination of toxins
  • helps clear sinus problems and headaches
  • promotes a healthy pregnancy and labour

Ultimately can provide deep relaxation and optimum health!

Regular treatments of Reflexology can provide cumulative benefits and effects. Maintenance treatments on a monthly basis thereafter can help keep the body in balance and HEALTHY!

Vertical Reflex Therapy (VRT)
VRT works the same reflexes as classical reflexology along with many new reflex points.
The reflexes, however, are accessed via the top of the feet in a weight-bearing position (standing or sitting).
VRT can achieve significant results very quickly. It can be used on its own in its own right, or to complement a classical reflexology session.
